Alumna Amy Petrovic

Amy Petrovic, an alumna of the College's Hospitality Management program, shares her experiences as a Catering Sales Manager for the Bertram Inn Hotel & Conference Center in Aurora. Petrovic first shadowed an employee at the Bertram Inn as part of Dr. Swathi Ravichandran's Meetings Management course and eventually worked her way up to full-time employment, planning weddings, Bar Mitzvahs and other celebrations and events.

Scavenger Hunt

Ryan Manfredi, a student at Berkshire High School in Burton, stands next to a waterfall on the Kent campus. The water feature was the 'something interesting' item on his group's photo scavenger hunt list. Ryan is one of 15 Northeast Ohio students participating in the KSU Supported Job Club. The six-week summer program is affiliated with the Kent State Transition Collaborative, which provides career exploration and preparation to high school students with disabilities.
